Day 1 — High Camp (5,300m)

Drive to Chimborazo and ascend to establish high camp at 5,300m, significantly reducing summit day distance. Acclimatize and rest.

Day 2 — Summit from High Camp

Shorter summit push from 5,300m through the upper glacier to the Whymper summit at 6,263m. This approach offers a better success rate due to reduced summit day effort. Descend and return to Quito.
